“Every Child has a right to love and be loved and to grow up in an atmosphere of love, affection and of moral and material security, this is possible only if the child is brought up in a tree of family under the care of Jeevitha (Jeevitha means alive or life)
Accommodation
The ashram has three small, simple dormitories, dining hall, kitchen, day-care.
We have a veranda and children utilize this space for recreational activities, dinning, tuition classes and other programmes.
Education:
Children are been sent to private school, Children are enrolled in English medium or Kannada medium school based on their previous educational background. Children are trained to give entrance test for both Kannada medium and English medium school.
Health and Nutrition
Regular health check-up for children through tie-ups with local clinics, private hospital and for vaccination we have tied up with government hospital
Care & Protection
Awareness training for children on child rights and child protection, fundamental rights, civic awareness, inputs on life skill, leadership skills and communication and conflict management are been conduct every quarter
Counselling
Counselling support was provided to all new and old students. Since the children come from stressful backgrounds, continuous counselling support is provided either individually or in groups. This is planned on the basis of need of the children.
