The ashram has three small, simple dormitories, dining hall, kitchen, day-care.
We have a veranda and children utilize this space for recreational activities, dinning, tuition classes and other programmes.
Separate rented home for boys and the rent & other maintenance cost is bared by donors.
Each individual child is provided with bed, pillow and blanket
Maids are appointed who washes the cloths and helps small children in bathing.
Children have a specific time table. Time table helps the children to do all their work on time and also gives time to enjoy their hobby.
Several lay people donate old cloths which are in good condition and children choose and wear these cloths, apart from these new dresses are been provided yearly twice or as per need.
Children are divided into various ‘Committees’ with designated roles and responsibilities for overseeing health, food and water, cleanliness of campus, assistance to staff in maintaining registers and materials, organizing games and other cultural events. All the children learn responsibility by maintaining the committee.
Birthday of all the children are celebrated to make them feel at home. Children plan each other’s birthday with help of Co- Founder. Birthday celebration of children gives immense joy to everyone.
We have a small play area for children to play. Children have play time included in their time table. The children are given chance to learn both indoor and out door games like chess, badminton, cricket, carom, etc.
Warden takes care of the children and also helps them with their daily works. Warden maintains the discipline in the ashram.
Cook is there to look after children’s diet. Children are served hot and nutritious food daily. Children are also given turmeric milk to boost their immunity level. Vegetarian as well as non- vegetarian food is given to all the children. Boiled egg is given to all the children, twice a week. Menu for each day is decided to maintain the children’s health.
Jeevitha as two centres one is for Girls located in Margondanahalli, other one is boys’ home located in Anandapura.
The main home consists of 10,000 sqft.
